If you are using MyAchilles, either as a Buyer or a Supplier, you will have received an invitation with instructions on how to set up your account for the first time.
MyAchilles allows users to create an account using an email username and password, or via Single Sign-On (SSO). Accessing using Single Sign-On (SSO) is possible using Microsoft or Google, but may depend on the policy of your organisation.
Signing in with your username and password
Enter the username and password that you created when registering with MyAchilles and select ‘Sign in’
You can also select the checkbox next to ‘Keep me signed in’ to reduce the number of times you are asked to enter your password.
If you are encountering login issues when signing in using your username and password there is a link to reset your password on the MyAchilles login page.
To reset your password select ‘Forgot your password?’ and follow the steps outlined.
Please note, you cannot use the ‘Forgot your password?’ process to reset a password for a Microsoft or Google Single Sign-On account.
Single Sign-On using Microsoft
If your organisation allows you to use Single Sign-On through Microsoft you will be able to access MyAchilles using the same username and password that you use to log in to your work account.
To sign in, use the ‘Sign in with Microsoft’ button and use your existing Microsoft Office credentials to access your account.
If your organisation has not yet enabled Single Sign-On with Microsoft and you would like to use this option, please speak to your internal IT department. They will need to ensure that your organisation is using Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Entra to manage user identities. They will also need to make sure that MyAchilles is authorised to connect to your Microsoft identity provider tenant.
There are several benefits to Microsoft Single Sign-On:
- It eliminates the need to re-enter your credentials and recall your password.
- Improved security – benefit from Microsoft account management and security features
- Simplified and more secure account administration – leavers from your organisation will automatically lose their access to MyAchilles
If you are using MyAchilles as a Buyer organisation it is possible to enforce use of Microsoft Single Sign-On for your users. If your internal IT department would like to do this, please advise them to contact your Achilles account manager. There are a few steps they will need to complete.
More information on Microsoft Single Sign-On can be found from Microsoft on the following link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/azure-integration?view=o365-worldwide
Single Sign-On using Google
If your organisation allows you to use Single Sign-On through Google you will be able to access MyAchilles using the same username and password that you use to log in to your work account.
To sign in, use the ‘Sign in with Google’ button and use your existing Google credentials to access your account.
If your organisation has not yet enabled Single Sign-On with Google and you would like to use this option, please speak to your internal IT department.
There are several benefits to Google Single Sign-On:
- It eliminates the need to re-enter your credentials and recall your password.
- Improved security – benefit from Microsoft account management and security features

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
MyAchilles offers Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) as an optional extra security measure for all non-Single Sign On accounts. This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring each user to provide two credentials when signing in.
Users have the option of using an email address or an authenticator app to use MFA. Alternatively, a user can choose to opt out of using MFA.
It is possible to modify this preference in ‘My Profile’ at any time.
Please note that you may need to check with your IT team that emails from @microsoftonline.com addresses are permitted within your organisation before using MFA.
For any issues with MFA, please see Further help below.
Multiple organisations and roles
You may have access to MyAchilles via multiple buyer/supplier organisations’ subscriptions. If this is the case, you will be invited to choose from available organisations as you enter the system.
If you have access as a Buyer and Supplier you will also be prompted to choose between the two platform views.
