In the main menu you will see an entry called ‘Invite a Supplier’. This allows you to issue an invitation directly to a Supplier organisation that you would like to see on MyAchilles. This may be a Supplier that you want to participate in a Request Information event.
- The first fields cover the basic information about the Supplier – name, country of registration, registration number, sales tax number, ERP number, address and contact details. The ERP number field is used by some Buyers for their own internal ID they use to refer to Suppliers.
- You can set the Network and minimum level of assurance that they need to register under. The Invitation details section at the bottom of the page includes a Network selector listing all the Networks that you are part of. The Subscription package level menu shows the available assurance levels for the Network selected. Suppliers using the invitation will then be required to join at this level or above.
- Invited Suppliers will automatically be set up with a Buyer-Supplier Relationship to your organisation. This will allow you to find them by choosing ‘My Suppliers’ in Supplier Analytics and in Supplier Search once they are on the platform.
- An invitation email will be issued immediately to the Supplier unless Achilles detects a potential duplicate Supplier organisation already in the system. If this is the case Achilles staff will check to see if there is a genuine duplicate and if not will trigger the invitation. If the Supplier is already with Achilles they can have a new Network and Buyer-Supplier Relationship added.
Other Supplier Invitation Options
- It is possible to invite large numbers of Supplier organisations in bulk. If you need to do this, please contact your Achilles Account Manager and we will provide a template for you to input the details.
- You can also invite Suppliers by giving them an appropriately-configured URL address. This can be emailed to potential Suppliers or published to your website. This can be encoded to include a My Supplier relationship to your organisation. Your Account Manager will be able to provide more information on this.
- For certain Buyers/Networks we have set up invitations triggered by a third-party system such as SAP. Again, please contact your Achilles Account Manager for more details.
